Early Arrivals In NZ

We were learning about when Captain Cook came to New Zealand  .

I found it easy to do the writing and to make the map because I just had to search up when he was born . 

I found it hard to find out how many kids he had and when came to new Zealand . 

I enjoyed making the map & getting to know about him & thinking about what i'm going to write . 

Next time I need to be better and faster and don't look at what my friends are doing when I need to complete my work . 

Life In Aotearoa New Zealand

 

We were learning about how much New Zealand animals have changed and adapted to life in New Zealand. There were no mammals to hunt our birds so they became flightless. 

I found it easy to make the name of my animal because I liked when I put kairangi and night together to create a name.  .

I found it hard to think about what food it likes and when was it here in New Zealand because i didn't really know what cats eat .

I enjoyed writing about the kairangi night cat. I liked thinking of how to describe my new animal . 

Next time i need to be fast and spell all the words right  because sometimes it  is hard to spell some words .
